“The all new fourth generation KIA Sorento” KIA MALAYSIA has launched the new locally assembled KIA Sorento. Two engine options are available for the Sorento, a 2.5L ‘smartstream’ petrol making 177 Hp and 232 Nm sent to the front or four wheels by a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 2.2L “smartstream” diesel option is also available making 199 Hp and 440Nm to all four wheels via an 8-speed wet double clutch transmission. 3 variants of the Sorento are available: 2.5L petrol 2WD 7-seater (RM211,498.40) 2.5L petrol AWD 6-seater (RM235,498.40) 2.2L diesel AWD 6-seater (RM255,228.80) (Price in West Malaysia, with SST and without insurance).
